Sorry I'm so late with these
updates. I had a slight "run-in" with my "trusty"
digital camera and I had to resort to other measures to get
these photos.
So, it's now been three years
since I started my locs. I can honestly say that I am really
lovin' my locs and the freedom that comes with them! I've
probably said that before, but it's just how I feel. I still
don't do much styling like I used to. I also try and let my
hair be for the most part...I don't tighten it nearly as much
as during the earlier stages.
My routine is pretty
much the same...shampoo once a week (if not every two weeks),
a little oil and every now and then I'll spritz them. It's pretty
simple...nothing major, nothing fancy. My hair has grown out
from when I cut it some months back. I KNOW it would have been
a lot longer now (especially the front) had I not done that,
but it's done and it's growing back, so that's cool.
Well, enough of
the chatter, enjoy the pictures! NOTE: You may notice I have
a lot of shots of the right side of my head...there's a reason
for that (and no, not because I think it's my "best side"!).
Due to the way I had to manuever things to get these shots on
a camcorder that was hooked up to my computer, most of the shots
had to be either face-forward or that particular side. It was
easiest for me.
